i got a new car last year, and we are supposed to pay it off in like 3 more years, it is a tahoe for camping and stuff like that etc.
I spoke to the wife of the mechanic they own it together
When I called her last week she told me it could be one of several things so I was just dropping it off to find out what was wrong
When I dropped it off this morning her husband was the one I dropped it off with he said that it sounded like the starter but until he looked at it he couldnt be certain
So I left it there and walked home
When I told my DH what was going on he got angry
they tried to tell me that if I gave them the 270 cost for part they would release my car to me and then the would work out a payment plan for the other 60
My DH called them back and the owner said he just assumed that since I he said it may be the starter and that I left it there that I just made him figure out that I wanted the work to be done which was never the case
